Violet Jelly and Dandelion Wine

I'm on my way out to gather my flowers, but I just had to share first. I wonder if anyone else is out picking some.

My baby girl and I will also be gathering lots of dandelions for wine, which DH and I have wanted to make for years. I'll post some pics soon. Gotta get picking :-)

    I have just made dandelion wine - it is the season for it, afterall. My recipe and method is on my blog (bensadventuresinwinemaking.blogspot.com) as my first blog entry. The measures, though, are UK measures where 1 pint is 20 fluid ounces. Enjoy your pickings.
